Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using showUp Events ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Use of the Platform
showUp is a ticket reservation platform operating primarily in Cameroon. You may use the Platform to discover events, purchase tickets, and organise events. You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent/guardian to use this service.
3. Ticket Purchases — No Refund Policy
All ticket sales are final. showUp does not offer refunds for purchased tickets. By completing a purchase you acknowledge that you have reviewed the event details and accept this policy. In the exceptional case of an event being cancelled by the organiser, showUp will facilitate a resolution on a case-by-case basis.
4. Payments
Payments are processed via NKWAPay using MTN Mobile Money and Orange Money. showUp charges a booking fee on each paid ticket to cover platform and payment processing costs. This fee is shown clearly before you confirm your purchase.
5. Organiser Responsibilities
Event organisers are solely responsible for the accuracy of event information, the conduct of their events, and compliance with applicable Cameroonian law. showUp is a platform intermediary and is not liable for the actions of event organisers.
6. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Platform to: post false or misleading event information; resell tickets for fraudulent purposes; violate any applicable law; or engage in any activity that disrupts or harms the Platform or its users.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform — including design, text, logos, and code — is the property of showUp Events. You may not reproduce or distribute it without written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
showUp shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or attendance at an event. Our maximum liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for a specific ticket.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
